In this conversation, I speak with an old friend, Jonathan Miller of Miller Samuel, HousingNotes.com, and What It Means podcast hosted by Douglas Elliman. He’s an appraiser, a market analyst who consults with some of the largest companies in our industry as well as Wall Street firms, and in his free time he teaches market analysis at Columbia University. You might say there are few people more qualified to talk about housing and housing markets than Mr. Miller.
We engage in what is so often missing: civilized debate about private markets vs. public markets, comparing the worlds of finance, commercial real estate, and residential real estate.
I hope you find our conversation as interesting as I did having it in the first place.
