I agree with you that big changes are coming in our industry and after reading the DOJ Statement (11/24/24) the NAR Settlement and rule re buyer broker agreements prior to home touring and listing broker publicly offering buyer broker compensation appears as an Antitrust Trap. The DOJ clearly states the NAR settlement is NOT a defense against these two rules it considers Antitrust. Decoupling MLS from NAR will have to happen and I also believe the DOJ files a lawsuit against the NAR in 2025. More chaos coming. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
