I have been complaining about and asking for the actual policy language, because if you’re in the policy game, news announcements, blogposts and podcast appearances are not enough.
Zillow finally released the policy language so now we can appropriately look at what the policy says, what it might mean, and analyze it. Zillow also released a guide for agents including a FAQ. While that isn’t policy language, it can help inform what the language means, similar to legislative history informing the meaning of the words in a statute.
Let’s look at all of that together, and think about implications and raise any additional questions. Such things are always always what happens with any kind of policy, legislation or regulation.
As always, I am not your lawyer, and none of this is legal or financial advice.
