A reader sent me the filings from the Nosalek v. MLS PIN case, one of the three commission lawsuit class action cases, showing that there was a settlement agreement reached between MLS PIN and the plaintiffs.
Assuming that this settlement agreement will be approved by the court (and it is exceedingly rare for a court not to approve a settlement agreement), at first glance, this looks like a HUGE win for MLS PIN. The settlement amount is a minuscule $3 million and the changes to the compensation rules are very minor. If this is the final form of the settlement, then yeah, MLS PIN is the big winner.
